Hello friends, I need your help to get Nessie, my trusty 2007 FJ Cruiser, back on the road. After putting aside almost a year's worth of savings and stepping away from full-time employment to focus on my humanitarian advocacy work, I unexpectedly had to take cover rent and utilities for a friend in need for several months, which in LA is pretty pricey. I also faced medical challenges which, without insurance, significantly cut into my savings. Nessie, my only reliable means of transportation in LA, needs nearly $4,000 worth of essential repairs.
