Hello online community! My name is Charles and I need some help please. I had a pretty serious injury while traveling in Sweden and needed emergency surgery on my leg and shoulder. I took a nasty 15-20' fall while climbing. Unfortunately, there are so many loopholes for insurance companies that I am stuck without coverage for the medical bills and flight coverage :( I need to be able to have my leg elevated while flying back to the states which unfortunately requires a 1st class ticket. I've tried to work with the airlines for a medical exception but have been unable to do so with success. I need to return home by August 18th to continue my recovery and before I run out of medicine provided here in Sweden. I've already reached out to the embassy, airlines, and insurance companies trying to find other avenues than asking here. I'm deeply grateful for any support that you can provide to help me continue a speedy recovery. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns! The funds will be used for the flight from Sweden/Copenhagen to San Francisco as I'm trying to get as direct of a fight as possible.
