My brother Charlie has stage 4 terminal lung cancer. He has two small children with special needs, both under the age of 6. Both children   need round-the-clock care, which my sister-in-law administers. As a result, there is little to no money coming into the household. The funds would be allocated to medical and living expenses for Charlie and his family.
