Help for the Ward Family in need after a terrible accident

**Help Support Charles and His Family During This Unthinkable Time**

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-hearted Strangers,

We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your help and support for Charles, a devoted father, husband, and hard-working provider who is fighting with all his strength after a devastating accident. On December 15th, Charles was severely burned while working in his carport at home. Charles was life-flighted to the University of Utah Hospital, where the best burn unit in Utah has been caring for him, and he has been undergoing intensive treatment for the severity of his burns.

Charles is currently facing multiple surgeries, with doctors now warning that he may need to amputate parts of his left foot or even his entire leg. His journey to recovery is uncertain, and the road ahead is long. This has left his wife, Julie, and their nine children in a state of shock and immense hardship. They are currently still supporting 4 of them ages 7, 13, 17, and 18.

Julie, who has been by Charles' side since the accident, just returned to work after a long medical leave due to her own health issues and surgery. Unfortunately, she has exhausted all of her paid time off and is now balancing her life while being away from home and her children and caring for Charles. As the primary financial supporter, Charles' absence has put the family in an incredibly difficult financial position, to top it off now it is definite that Christmas, New Year’s, and their son’s birthday will be passing without the a chance of celebrate together.

To make matters worse, the family has already missed their 17-year-old son’s birthday, and their time apart during this critical period is heartbreaking. The emotional and financial strain is overwhelming, but Julie is doing everything she can to stay strong for her children and her husband, all while navigating a difficult personal recovery of her own.

We are asking for your support in this incredibly challenging time. The medical bills are piling up, and the family is facing significant uncertainty about their financial future, especially as Charles may not be able to return to work for a long time, Charles installs pools so this is the busiest and most demanding time of the year for him but also the most financially crucial for their family. Your donations will help cover medical expenses, daily living costs, and help keep the family afloat as they navigate the trials ahead.
