Cathy’s parents, Charlene and Lee, have been married for 64 years and are facing one of the hardest moments of their lives. Charlene, at 84, recently suffered a brain aneurysm and is now in the hospital in Dallas, Texas. Her husband Lee, who is 87, still goes to work every day just to keep up with their bills. Even though all he wants is to be by his wife’s side, he simply can’t afford to stop working.
Cathy lives in Florida and is doing everything she can to support her parents from afar. She wishes she could be there more often, but travel expenses add up quickly. The stress and worry for her family are overwhelming, especially knowing her father is torn between being with his wife of 64 years and having to work to keep their household afloat.
We are raising funds to help cover household bills, give Lee the chance to take time off work to be with Charlene during her recovery, and help Cathy travel to Dallas to support her parents. Your support will allow this family to focus on what matters most—being together and helping Charlene regain her strength. Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser. Every bit of help is deeply appreciated.
