Charlene and her son Matthew live in Foxborough, Massachusetts. Like many, they have been affected by the pandemic but recently,  for them, the impact became so great that they are having difficulty meeting their basic needs, including a place to live - and staying in the town they call home. 

Matthew is a sophomore in High School and is a dedicated student, football player and member of the community. Charlene is also a dedicated mother who had four jobs in the beginning of 2020 when the pandemic hit, including Gillette Stadium team supervisor and healthcare team member at a local community clinic. She lost work when those positions were no longer needed and little by little their family funds have become so depleted they are renting a small hotel room to get by. She is working with local social services, though due to the pandemic, wait lists are long and support is taking time that they don't have.

Charlene has never needed (or asked) for help before these unforeseeable circumstances changed her and her family's life. Currently, Charlene has asked for $1,000 to help with food, gas, hotel payments to keep a roof over their heads. 

Let's raise $1,000 and more...to help them thrive again and find a home in the community. By raising more, we can help them with a first and last payment to find a home and get out of the hotel.
