Charlene Tanner is a 72-year-old survivor. She was terminally diagnosed 10 years ago with metastatic, infiltrating, ductile breast cancer, which she somehow beat, but with a devastating effect from the chemotherapy and radiation that put her into heart failure. She has now had two heart attacks and two stent placements. Last Saturday, she had a substantial stroke, which has stolen 50% of her vision from her right eye among a plethora of other issues.

My mother-in-law is one of the smartest and most hard-working people I have ever known. She raised two boys on her own, working 2 to 3 jobs at times. Unfortunately, for the last two years, she has been working for Uber Eats and DoorDash with her loving dog Buddy to supplement the difference from her Social Security check to allow her to purchase her three life-critical cardiac medications. Now, because of her stroke, she is incapacitated and unable to drive.

My husband and I are trying to help the best we can with her financial needs, but as we all know, right now times are tough. Even with supplementing her rent and utilities and covering them for her, without work she will not have enough money to purchase those medications. If there is any way you can find it in your heart to help this wonderful woman not have to work in the Las Vegas heat in the summer and risk falling or another stroke or heart attack, I would not be able to thank you enough.
