Ifunanya “Charity” Iseherein was married to her loving husband for eight short years, which ended as soon as it started when death came calling and took him away, leaving her to fend for four very young children, all by herself. In December 2021, her husband became ill and was admitted to the hospital. Because of this, her family could not spend Christmas together; the first time such a thing happened. His condition worsened, and he was admitted into the ICU. On the night of Jan 15th, Charity received the call that no one ever wants to hear, that her husband went into cardiac arrest and died.
Her husband meant the world to her and their four beautiful children, who miss their father and cannot comprehend that he is gone. He was the breadwinner for the family as they recently had a baby girl Precious, a happy 10-month-old with the brightest smile that lights up any room. He was a talented gospel artist; this is seen every day in their sweet little girl Sarah, as she dances to music, oblivious that her beloved father is no more. He was respectful, involved himself with community/humanitarian services, and loved sports like football and volleyball. His love of sports is seen in the boys, Joshua, and Joseph, who try to emulate him daily. He recently graduated from the University of Louisville with a BSc in Organizational Leadership. He was looking forward to the graduation ceremony as well as the opportunity to provide a better life for his family. The sole burden of caring for the family is left to Charity. We are requesting assistance with the burial/funeral expenses and funds for her children.
The help we provide will also give them a head-start to decrease the stress brought on by being the sole provider. We are also not only requesting money, but prayers and lots of support and care, especially so that the family can function emotionally with the void that has been created due to this loss.
