We want to share the story of an incredible woman who has touched the lives of so many in our community—Charito. Known for her selflessness, hard work and dedication, Charito has devoted her life to caring for children in Las Colinas and around the world. If you’ve lived here, you’ve likely felt her kindness, whether through her direct care or by knowing someone whose children she has nurtured. Beyond our community, Charito also funds a school in her home country of the Philippines, providing vital education to children in need.

Recently, Charito received the heartbreaking diagnosis of advanced ovarian and cervical cancer. She is preparing for surgery and chemotherapy, and while she is a fierce fighter, she needs our support now more than ever.

Charito has given so much to our families; it’s our turn to rally around her during this difficult time. Your contributions will go directly toward her medical expenses and help alleviate the financial burden she faces.
