Our community has always known Charisse Edgar as someone who gives her all - whether it’s serving familiar faces with a smile at Cornerstone Pub, cheering from the sidelines at youth sporting events, or going above and beyond to make every birthday and holiday special for others. Now, it’s our turn to show Charisse the same love and generosity she’s shared with all of us.
In September, Charisse went to the ER after experiencing severe back pain. What she thought might be something small turned out to be life-changing: doctors discovered a large tumor on her kidney, which is causing intense pain and limiting her ability to walk or live her daily life. She now urgently needs surgery to remove the tumor and determine whether it is cancerous.
This surgery will require an extended recovery, leaving Charisse unable to work for at least six weeks, possibly longer. As we enter the holiday season, this comes at a time when many of us are already stretched thin, and Charisse is especially worried about keeping up with household bills and making sure her children can still experience the magic and comfort of the holidays.
We’re asking for your help to raise funds to support Charisse and her family during this critical time. Your donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward:
- Covering essential living expenses while she’s unable to work
- Supporting her children through the holidays
- Helping with recovery-related costs following surgery
Charisse has spent her life showing up for others. Now, let’s show up for her. Please consider donating or sharing this campaign with others who know and love her. Together, we can help Charisse heal and remind her just how strong her community truly is!
