On Friday, September 19th, Charise’s life changed forever.

She was in a devastating car accident that left her with severe, life-altering injuries. She broke her femur in two places, her pelvis is fully broken, her right arm and clavicle are broken, and even her right heel was shattered. She now faces multiple surgeries, months of immobility, and a long, uncertain road of rehabilitation.

As much as she wants to fight through this on her own, the reality is overwhelming. If you know Charise, you know she is a devoted, loving mother to a beautiful 2-year-old little girl, Kari. That little girl doesn’t understand why her mommy can’t pick her up, chase her around the room, or tuck her in at night.

Because of the accident, Charise is unable to work or provide for her daughter. On top of mounting medical bills, she’s facing everyday expenses—food, childcare, transportation, and household needs. The weight of it all is simply too much for one person to carry while trying to heal from such devastating trauma.
