Hi everyone,

My name is Rebecca Lee and I am creating this fundraiser because my girlfriend, Charis Latshaw was in a horrific accident this past Sunday. Charis was driving to pick me up from the airport when she suddenly had a seizure caused by a cardiac episode which made her lose consciousness and crash. She was rushed to the emergency room and admitted to the hospital for an intense series of testing on both her heart and brain functions.

She is now facing a pile up of medical and car bills and although having insurance for both, she is not getting any financial relief. I am writing this to ask anyone who is willing and able to help to please donate to support her during this time. Your donation would help her be able to pay for the repairs for the car. This car allows us both to get to work and around Los Angeles. Your donation would also assist her in paying for the extensive medical bills she now has after three nights in the hospital.

As a Queer woman in her mid-twenties with both the cost of living and student loans, it is already hard enough to live in Los Angeles.
