Help Charis ONeil (Mulholland) Fight Breast Cancer

In November of 2018, our sweet sister, Charis O'Neil (Mulholland) (40), discovered a lump and made an appointment to have it looked at. On December 6th, 2018, Charis was given the news that every woman fears and that has completely shaken her life, and all those who love her - “You have Stage 2 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Breast Cancer”.
For anyone, this news would be devastating and it certainly was for Charis and her family, but she is STRONG and was determined to take on the fight of her life. On December 13, 2019, Charis underwent a lumpectomy and is currently undergoing radiation treatment.
Charis and her husband, Sean, have 3 children Olivia (17), Alexis (16) and Jack (13). Sean is in the trucking business and is away from home, working 5-6 days/week. Charis homeschools her kids, and had also started a home cleaning business shortly before her diagnosis, and is still working hard to keep the business running.
Charis has continued to clean homes throughout her diagnosis, after her surgery, and throughout radiation treatment with the help of her daughters. However, due to the side effects of the radiation, she is unable to keep up with the physical demands of her business, limiting the amount of money she can put towards the mounting medical bills.
Like most of us, Charis has trouble asking for help but is one of the first people to help when others are in need. She is an amazing mother, wife, sister and friend and is one of the kindest, most generous, loving souls we know. Along with that she is also extremely hard working, resilient, and joyful even in the midst of her cancer battle.
The financial burden of her medical bills from diagnostic procedures, surgery and radiation treatment (even with medical insurance) is astronomical. In addition to the medical bills, the side effects from radiation resulting in the inability to work longer days has placed a great deal of stress on Charis and her family, as one could imagine.
We made this page to help Charis and her family begin the process of paying off the medical bills. The funding from your contributions will go directly towards Charis’ uninsured medical expenses.
