On August 3rd, 2025 around 2:00am, Charandeep’s life flashed before her eyes when her house was destroyed in an extreme fire.

It started when her niece was woken up to someone banging on the front door yelling “FIRE!”. She ran to wake up Charandeep and they quickly rushed out of the house while calling 911.

Within minutes, flames had spread through the whole house, consuming everything. Her home, cars, furniture, clothing and all the memories and belongings that can never be replaced, leaving them with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

The fire started next door, when a barbecue grill was left on, which got out of control and quickly spread to Charandeep’s house. By the time the firefighters arrived, nothing could be saved.

We are so grateful that Charandeep and her niece made it out safely but now they have to deal with the heartbreaking challenge of starting from scratch and rebuilding everything they worked so hard to build.

We are raising funds to help Charandeep and her family secure temporary housing, replace essential items like clothing, food and toiletries, cover relocation and emergency living expenses and begin the process of rebuilding her life and her home.

This experience has been emotionally and financially overwhelming but with your help and support, we can bring Charandeep some relief and hope.
