We’re heartbroken to share that our beloved Chapo is facing serious and unexpected health complications. Doctors have found what appears to be a blockage or mass in his throat, and he urgently needs a CT scan and surgery to determine exactly what’s going on and to remove it. Right now, Chapo is struggling to breathe and has been in the ER in Oceanside since Saturday and fighting for his life. His dad is doing everything he can, but the cost of emergency care, diagnostics, and surgery is quickly becoming overwhelming.

Chapo is a huge part of the CSG Jiu Jitsu family and Jiu Jitsu community. He is loved everywhere he goes and by all due to his happy and easy-going vibe. Chapo isn’t just a pet—he’s family. He’s especially loved by all the kids whose lives he’s touched.
