I don't like showing our faces since we are in hiding . But I want to be transparent that my story is real. Help us out of victimization ,Help us heal,help us not be homeless again. Please. Especially After thanksgiving and before christmas. We worked so hard to get a apartment and rebuild from nothing after a shelter and motel for a year. My daughter and me have no other option and she just started healing. It will break our spirits. In these cold times. We live in fear of being abducted or hurt or unalived or S/A ed and Homeless again .

My name is Chantel, and I’m the proud mother of a brave 9-year-old little girl. We are both survivors of sexual abuse and stalking. The person who harmed us was taken to court, admitted to what he did, and was still released. Despite our reports to the police, we continue to live in fear.

The father of my child struggles with serious drug issues and refuses to pay child support. He has threatened us and sent people to follow us in the past. Recently, an unknown man came to my door asking for me and ran away when he realized he was being recorded. We live every day terrified for our safety.

On top of this, we are now being forced out of our home. My landlord misrepresented the apartment as legal when it was not. Because of this, the rental assistance program (TRA) will not continue paying for it. She is giving us 60 days to move out. We have no family to turn to—my family outcast me years ago after I was abused as a child, and they have also rejected my daughter.

My daughter and I are extremely traumatized and have been in therapy and on medication to cope with everything we’ve endured. We are scared, and our resources are very limited.

I am asking for help so that we can escape this situation quickly and safely. The funds will go toward:

Real estate fees and deposits to secure a safe, legal home for us

Travel and relocation expenses to leave our current location immediately

Basic necessities to help us start over and heal
