Help Chantal Recover After Stroke & Loss

Chantal Ohnona, also known as Chana, is a 72-year-old Jewish woman facing unimaginable hardship. After losing her business, home, and car due to a devastating family tragedy and the actions of a corrupt partner, she now finds herself completely alone. With no family to turn to and no support system, Chantal relies on the kindness of her local Chabad community for Shabbat meals and help with her electric bill. Despite this, she is living in extremely precarious conditions, struggling to meet even her most basic needs like food, medicine, and rent.

Recently, Chantal suffered a fall in her home and endured a stroke, which left her unable to open one eye and with difficulty walking. These health challenges have made her situation even more urgent. Living in the Dominican Republic, where there is no protection for the elderly or access to free medical care, Chantal is at risk of eviction and unable to afford the therapy and medical attention she desperately needs. She also needs legal assistance to reclaim what was stolen from her, adding another layer of stress to her already overwhelming circumstances.

Your support can make a life-changing difference for Chantal. Every donation will help provide her with therapy, medical care, food, and rent, ensuring she has a safe place to live and the chance to recover her health and dignity. Please open your hearts and give generously so Chantal can get the care she needs, avoid eviction, and celebrate Passover with hope and peace.
