Help my sissy Chantal in her recovery!

Hi friends and family,
Thanks for taking the time to read this. My sister Chantal has been battling some serious medical issues since December. As she was about to embark on an exciting new chapter in her life, she was misdiagnosed (thankfully) with a blood cancer. Over the last five months, doctors and specialists have been trying to figure out what is causing her illness. From a bone marrow biopsy to a kidney biopsy, we finally received news in May that Chantal had a severe allergic reaction to one of her medications that slowly chipped away at her kidneys.
At her lowest, her kidneys were at 7%. The specialists believe that they will recover on their own with time, but she is still left with a multitude of debilitating symptoms that keep her from working -- and many unanswered questions.
Chantal has been unable to work since January (doctor's orders). Although her former employer was very supportive, Chantal was on a contract and they eventually had to let her go. She loved her job and was dedicated to it for 8 years. My sister is now unemployed, has a low quality of life, and is still very sick.
About my sister: Chantal is the bravest and most resilient woman I know. After a (blindside) divorce, she transitioned from a dedicated stay-at-home mom to the workforce and raised four beautiful children on her own. Chantal poured everything she had into her children to ensure they thrived and experienced a happy childhood. While working full time, Chantal also committed to putting herself through school to finish her university degree.
My big sister has that kindest heart. She is funny, warm, adventurous and selfless. She is passionate about travel, camping, and creating new memories with family and friends -- All things that are not realistic right now.
The last five months have been emotionally and physically exhausting for Chantal. And this new financial stress is a burden we did not expect. Medically, we are now left with more questions than answers. As medical tests continue, so do bills and fiscal responsibilities.
As a single-salary household (now at zero), any financial support would allow Chantal to rest and focus on getting better so that she can return to the workforce and reignite her life.
Any funds raised will go to paying for her mortgage, household bills and food, as well help with any medical travel required in the future.
Chantal had a wonderful childhood, but her adult life has been riddled with unexpected bumps and turns. She has always been a giver, so seeing her go through this breaks my heart. She is a proud person and hates asking for help. Thank you for considering supporting my big sister. Keeping her in your prayers and thoughts is also appreciated.
