For those who have come to know and love Channon Sands you would know that she is the most generous, kind, committed and caring woman you can have in your corner. She is a daughter, sister, aunt, friend and colleague. Channon would give the skin off her back if she knew it would make someone else’s situation all the better for it. During the course of life she became the one to take care of so many during their illnesses, including her brother, father and mother. It is now her turn to be taken care of so that she can have the best chance at being comfortable.

In 2025, Channon was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and had to undergo multiple surgeries to remove the cancer. Shortly after she had to complete aggressive rounds of chemotherapy which improved her condition greatly. This was a victory for her and her family.

Fast forward to January 2026, Channon faced a new problem. She has a mass growing on her right chest (her doctors have never seen this before) which is causing major difficulties for her and needs to be treated through radiation and chemotherapy. She was also faced with other difficulties which required surgery and other procedures. These are extremely demanding on her body and she needs your support, prayers and financial assistance.

Channon needs to spend approximately 7 months in the USA to assist with getting to and from the hospital for her cancer treatment, living and medical expenses, therapy, care giver and other miscellaneous items that are out of pocket. These are all necessary and are also exorbitant in cost.

This journey has been over a year and besides taking a physical toll there is also a financial reality she has to manage.
