If you know Chanice, you probably know that she is someone who makes things happen. Endlessly creative, curious, and compassionate.

She is a crafter, maker, seamstress and cosplayer, gardener and enthusiastic baker. Chanice has a way of bringing creativity and personality into just about everything that she does. She's also a mother, partner, and friend of the highest quality, while being a valuable sorcerer to her adventuring party and someone who has spent her career helping other people through difficult things.

Now Chanice is facing a difficult chapter of her own. She's recently been diagnosed with and begun treatment for leukemia.

While she is working closely with her oncology team, the financial burden of cancer care has created difficult choices about the treatment options available to her. For now, she is taking a less costly treatment approach while facing the reality that the recommended treatment is beyond what she can currently afford. The treatment she has started has brought significant pain and physical challenges, making it increasingly difficult for her to work and maintain her usual routine.

Of course, life doesn't stop just because someone gets a cancer diagnosis. There are still bills to pay, a household to care for, a young son who needs his mom and the uncertainty of what the months ahead may bring. The weight of managing her health, caring for her family, and trying to keep up financially is an enormous amount to carry.

We want to help change what is financially possible for her and to help take some of that weight off.

We're hoping to raise as much as we can to help with the cost of treatment and everything that comes along with it. Donations will go toward medication, medical appointments, testing, and prescriptions. Since the recommended medication alone carries such a significant cost, we'll continue to share updates and adjust our goal as we learn more about what she'll need.
