Chanel is a young puppy who was abandoned in a parking lot and rescued by me. She’s already been through so much, and recently suffered a lateral humeral condylar fracture after jumping off the couch. Chanel is now in a splint, on strong medication, and is scared and in pain. The vet says she needs surgery as soon as possible—ideally by next week—to prevent permanent damage and give her the best chance at a healthy life.
Caring for Chanel has been an emotional journey. I am disabled and living on disability, so I simply cannot afford the cost of her care on my own, but I have to give her a chance. Despite her fear and discomfort, Chanel has shown a lot of resilience. I’m doing everything I can to keep her comfortable and safe, but the cost of her surgery, follow-up vet visits, medication, and possible physical therapy is overwhelming. Every donation will go directly toward Chanel’s medical care and recovery, helping her get back to being a happy, healthy puppy.
Your support means the world to both of us. With your help, Chanel can get the urgent treatment she needs and finally start her new life surrounded by love and care.
