Chanel has been my constant companion since she was a tiny puppy, and she means the world to me. Her birthday is April 13th, 2018, and from the moment I brought her home, she has filled my life with love, laughter, and comfort. Every day, I do my best to care for her—cooking her meals, giving her medication, and making sure she feels safe and cherished. Chanel is a little fighter, full of spirit, but she is also gentle and loving.
This past year has been incredibly hard. Chanel began having epileptic attacks, and more recently, she started struggling with uncontrollable urination. I have watched her go through test after test—cultures, ultrasounds—hoping for answers, but we still don’t know what’s wrong. Now, the vet says she needs an MRI for her head and spine to finally understand what is happening, especially since she has started having blood in her urine. She bravely takes her epilepsy medication every day and has been on antibiotics for a bacterial infection, but her symptoms persist.
Chanel is not just a pet—she is my family, my comfort, and my joy. I recently lost another dog, and the pain of not being able to save her still weighs on me. I am terrified of losing Chanel the same way. The funds raised will go directly toward her MRI at Oradell Animal Hospital in NJ, which is our only hope for a diagnosis and a chance at recovery.
If you are a pet owner or animal lover, I hope you can understand the fear and helplessness I feel. Even the smallest donation would mean so much to us, and if you can’t give, simply sharing our story would be a blessing. Thank you for reading about Chanel and for any kindness you can offer. May God bless you.
