Hi, I’m Chandler, and I’m fundraising to support my father who has been fighting both esophageal cancer and bone cancer for several months.

Recently, he had a bad reaction to his chemotherapy, causing neutrapenic fever. While he was in the hospital, he suffered cardiac arrest. During his fight with cancer, he has still been working to support himself. Health insurance covers the medical bills, but it doesn't cover wages lost during his time in the hospital.

That is why I created this fundraiser: to provide some financial support for him, while he is medically unable to work. To recoup what he has lost, pay his bills, and ease his burdens so he can recover and heal.

I say that if you can live today with joy, then it doesn’t matter what tomorrow brings. I hope with all my heart that my dad will be able to make a full recovery and become healthy again. But regardless of the results of his treatment, I want to ease his burdens for today, so that he may live in joy and know that he is loved.
