On February 24, 2026, Chandler Queen experienced a sudden medical emergency and was rushed to the emergency department by ambulance.
She is currently hospitalized and facing an unclear path forward toward recovery.
While doctors are working to stabilize her condition, the financial impact of this event is already significant.
Chandler has been diagnosed with Status Asthmaticus, which required immediate hospitalization. She spent two nights in the ICU and has had ongoing struggles with tachycardia as she is struggling with stability in her breathing which doctors are working to resolve.
The length of the hospital stay and recovery timeline are still unknown, but doctors expect that the road ahead will include significant medical care as she will need to consult with multiple specialists including a pulmonologist and cardiologist once she is released.
Because of this unexpected event, Chandler has already missed substantial time from work as an employee who does not have paid time off, and it is unclear how much time she will ultimately be unable to work as a result of this unfortunate situation.
Medical bills, rehabilitation costs, and everyday living expenses will continue while recovery is underway.
Funds raised will help cover:
• Hospital bills and medical treatment
• Rehabilitation and therapy after discharge
• Medical equipment needed for recovery
• Prescription medications
• Transportation to medical appointments
• Basic living expenses such as rent/mortgage, utilities, and groceries
At this stage, many details are still unknown — including the total medical costs, length of recovery, and when Chandler will be able to return to work.
This fundraiser is intended to help with immediate needs and the expenses that will continue throughout recovery.
Updates will be shared as we learn more.
If you know Chandler, you know her heart and know that she is a giving person and someone who puts the needs of others above her own. She is an advocate for others, and, as a nurse, she has devoted herself to improving the lives of those around her.
If you are able to help, any contribution — no matter the size — will make a meaningful difference during this incredibly difficult time.
If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser with others would mean just as much.
Thank you for your support, encouragement, and prayers for Chandler’s recovery.
