Help Chandler Fight Kidney Disease

Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits.

Bre and Coi have always been independent, generous, and kind. They are the kind of people who should receive assistance if they ever find themselves in a situation they cannot handle alone. They are currently facing such a situation, and we can help them.

Their precious baby Chandler, who has battled kidney disease since birth, is currently in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). As parents, Bre and Coi watch their little one fight for her life every day with love and worry.

Chandler was delivered at 32 weeks weighing only 3.7 lbs and both of her kidneys were not functioning at the time of delivery. The cause of kidney failure is still being investigated by doctors. Their world has been turned upside down, but Chandler has shown incredible strength and resilience.

Chandler requires extensive medical care and expensive treatments. Bre and Coi have been by Chandler's side 24/7, which has made maintaining their income and managing their regular expenses difficult. The financial strain of hospital bills, specialized medications, and continuous critical treatments is overwhelming, and we need your help to give Chandler the best chance at a healthy and happy life.

How You Can Help

We are humbly asking for your support to help cover the following expenses:

• Medical Bills: Hospital stays, surgeries, medications, and ongoing treatments.
• Travel Expenses: Frequent trips to and from the hospital.
• Living Expenses: Meals, utilities, and daily necessities.
• Future Treatments: Potential dialysis and a kidney transplant.

Your Support Means the World

Every donation, no matter the size, will bring us one step closer to providing Chandler with the care she needs. Your generosity will also give Bre and Coi the emotional and financial support they need to stay strong for their baby girl.

If you can, please consider making a donation and sharing this campaign with your network. During this incredibly challenging time, your kindness and compassion will make a profound difference in our family's life.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love, prayers, and support.

Update from Mom &Dad

Hello Friends & Family-

Coi Jenkins and I have been pretty busy with life lately. We have wanted to share our baby girl with all of you for a while but needed some answers first.

Our baby girl Chandler Rylynn Jenkins was born 2 months early via emergency C-section at 2:55am on November 14th at Corewell Health downtown. She weighed 3lb 4oz and was taken to the NICU immediately after birth. They got her stable and things were looking great. We were able to get some ultrasounds done on her and they noticed a countless amount of cysts on her kidneys. They anticipated it being poly cystic kidney disease but sent out genetic testing to confirm what it could be. Chandler has already faced many challenges cpap, feeding tubes, constant blood draws, surgery at 6 days old, and more. Genetic testing recently came back with the findings that she has a rare genetic mutation in her HNF1B gene. This has caused her to have chronic kidney disease in end stage as well as the cysts that are on her kidneys. The plan as of now is to monitor her levels daily, let her grow in hopes to put a dialysis port in, and once that port is in and working begin dialysis. She will be eligible for a kidney transplant at 2 years old or 22lbs.

She is so strong and proving herself everyday. We have been documenting her journey since day one on an app called caring bridge. I have linked it here for anyone who is interested in her updates and how she is doing. You can download the app and search Chandler Jenkins and her account will pop up!

Thank you for everyone who’s reached out, supported in any way, and been keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers. We are so grateful for all of you and know Chandler is so loved already.
