Champion is the best dog in the world. He brings smiles and laughter to everyone he meets, and gets along with all dogs and humans. Champ has been a huge part of our lives and the lives of everyone who meets him. He’s one of a kind. Zero formal training, yet he knows a handful of tricks, knows exactly where to use the bathroom, and may not be much of a guard dog — but he makes up for it with endless kisses. Some people call him the mayor of our street. Our family is so grateful for the joy he brings into our lives every day.
At the start of the new year, Champion wasn't feeling his best. After a trip to the vet, we discovered he had developed a mass on his spleen. We made the difficult decision to have his spleen removed to avoid further discomfort. Champion had a very successful surgery and is now home recovering, surrounded by love and care. He is in great spirits.
Sadly, we received the biopsy results from the mass and learned it is a stage 3 stromal sarcoma, a rare cancer. We are starting this fundraiser to help cover the costs of Champion's surgery and support any future vet visits and chemo treatments he may need. Every donation — no matter how small — helps give our boy a fighting chance.
Any support, even a dollar, means the world to us and will help Champion continue to live a happy, healthy life.
Thank you for reading, for sharing, and for supporting our family during this difficult time.
