Hi, I’m Bella Armenta, Chaise’s wife. On Saturday March 5th, Chaise Armenta was in a life threatening car accident. He was running errands when he had a seizure while he was driving. The seizure caused him to pass out while on the freeway, hit a light pole, and flip his car. While getting treatment in the Emergency Room, they took some MRIs and CAT scans and discovered there was a tumor on his brain. There is too much blood right now on his brain for them to get more definitive answers about what to do next. We have to wait 2-3 weeks to see a neurologist and do more tests to get more answers. His body in severe pain and he’s now on anti-seizure meds for the time being. This whole situation is made worse by the fact that he is in between medical insurances because I am in the middle of switching my job to another hospital. I am a respiratory therapist who has been on the frontline in the Emergency Room for the last few years of Covid. Between the cost of the Ambulance ride, the emergency room visit, the overnight ICU stay, the MRIs and the CAT scans, any help will be so appreciated.
