I am raising funds for my dog, Chai, after another heartbreaking setback. Two weeks ago, Chai had urgent surgery for a broken tibia and had to have a plate put into the leg. I am now trying to keep up with the cost while also meeting the vet’s 30-day payment terms. Chai has already been through so much in life, and watching this happen again has been incredibly hard.

When Chai was just a 10-week-old puppy, she was run over and suffered devastating injuries. She broke both back legs, had a ruptured diaphragm, needed pins placed in both back legs, and later a plate in one back leg. In 2023, Chai then developed a severe staph infection that required that plate to be removed, which left the leg weak. Because of all of that, this recent break has been especially difficult. I am asking for help covering Chai’s urgent surgery costs so I can focus on helping her recover instead of scrambling to come up with the payment in time. Any support, whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser, would mean so much to me and help relieve some of the financial pressure while Chai heals.
