Help Chai Breathe: Urgent Medical Care Needed

Chai has since passed away. We were able to get some treatment and the remainder of the funding went to his cremation. His final diagnosis was FIP, it just got too advanced. He will be forever missed.

Hi everyone, we are here again for a possible FIP case. Chai is a cat that was rescued last year by us, It Starts With Socks Rescue, he was a perfect boy for a college girl Sabrina, who loves kitties! She had updated us yesterday that he was not doing well since last week, he is down to 2 pounds at just 6 months old, he has labored breathing and the vet said they can hear fluid in or around his lungs. They suggested to wait for blood work to allow an antibiotic to work and while he was being dewormed. But we don't have time since we suspect he could have FIP. Sabrina is doing the best she can but she is a college student with debt and no credit cards to help her get Chai the care he needs. We are going to give Chai some of our own GS-441524 meds but he desperately needs xrays and to remove the fluid from his lungs to help his breathing and get blood work done ASAP. We are helping the funding for Chais care but we are in a desperate position. Please help us!
