I am starting this fundraiser for my husband Chadwick Fowler. In October 2021, he was diagnosed with brain cancer. He is a 42-year-old, loving husband and father of a 12-year-old son and a 9-year-old daugher. He is an extremely hard worker with no history of any previous health issues. On October 6th, 2021, he had a grand mal seizure at work, fell and hit his head on the concrete floor and was rushed to the ER with a serious head injury and after an MRI, a tumour was discovered. On November 18th, he underwent his first craniotomy where the neurosurgeon claimed to have removed 90% of the tumor. Then on December 14th, we were given the shocking news that it was Stage 4 Glioblastoma which brings with it a low survival rate past 15 months. The new year 2022 started with radiation coupled with chemotherapy. After a short break from these treatments, he started 6 cycles of chemotherapy treatments. Halfway through these cycles of treatment, his most recent MRI showed some growth in the same area, and on June 13th, he underwent his second craniotomy. The surgery went well but we are currently monitoring to ensure that there is no infection.

Chad has not been able to work since this has happened and all he wants to do is to spend time with his family and do work around the house. He has proven time and time again how tough, strong and determined he is while staying positive that he will beat this beast that has invaded our lives. We are trying any and all options, ideas that we can track down including nutrition supplements and special diet. As a proud family, we hate having to ask for help, but, with the costs of medication, supplements, special diets and the trips back and forth to the hospital, we are reaching out hoping for your assistance and support in these difficult times.
