Help Chad with Medical & Living expenses

This is my brother Chad and I've set up this Go Fund Me on his behalf due to some challenges he's been facing.  Sometime during the pandemic he lost his employment, and in addition to that he has been having health problems.  About a decade ago Chad was diagnosed with a heart condition called Cardiomyapathy.  At that time he was able to get treatment , and the problem seemed to be under control. In recent months things have taken a turn for the worse with this condition, and  Chad's doctor had him wear a Life Vest. The cool thing about this vest is that if you go into cardiac arrest it will shock the heart back into normal rhythm.   It has been about a week ago that our Dad called me and explained that Chad had had a heart attack.  It happened when he was pleasantly sleeping.  Somehow,  this life vest monitors a patient's  heart activity and sends the information  to someone who can then call and check on the abnormalities.  Chad got a phone call and was urged to get to the hospital right away. Since Chad lives in a smaller town he has to travel about 100 miles to a hospital that is able to provide a higher level of care.  The physicians there told him his life was saved by the life vest.

Chad is still in the hospital.  It's the goal of his cardiologists to heal an infection in his body, so they can implant a cardioverter defibrillator.  It will act in the same way the life vest did and shock his heart back into normal rhythm when needed.  This is all a basic explanation of what he's currently going through.

I know that Chad's medical situation is being exacerbated by his worries about finances, not working, and not being able to.  It's my hope that by raising money through Go Fund Me we can help lighten the load for Chad and help him with medical and living expenses.

Chad is a gentle and sweet soul.  He's also kind to everyone who he comes across.  I know he's private and humble, but I would also like him to feel that he isn't alone on this journey of recovering.
