My name is Jennifer Williams Borud. I am on a mission to help raise funds for my incredible brother, Chad Williams, a shining example of selflessness and kindness. His entire life has been a testament to his unwavering dedication to helping others, always being the first to lend a helping hand. He would tirelessly work on race cars late hours at the body shop when he used to be on the track, inspiring those around him with his passion. As a part of our community, he has spent his entire life making a positive impact. With a career as an automotive painter spanning since high school, he has been a true asset to our town. Every Friday, he would join us for our traditional pizza night, bringing joy to his nephews and creating cherished memories. Back in May, I noticed a change in him, and being the caring sister I am, I began to ask questions. After an in-depth conversation, I encouraged him to take proactive steps towards his health, suggesting a colonoscopy to ensure everything was alright. I took the initiative to make some calls, exploring scheduling and pricing options since he didn't have insurance. Although it took months, he finally underwent the procedure at the end of September. Unfortunately, the news was not what we had hoped for - a 6 cm malignant mass in his colon. The doctor was astonished by the size of the mass, considering Chad's relatively young age of 45. Following multiple tests and consultations with a surgeon, oncologist, and radiologist, his savings have been depleted. Our family is rallying around him, aiming to alleviate his financial burdens as he embarks on this challenging journey.
