I've been writing to my friend Chad for the past 7 years while he was incarcerated. He recently got out of prison and is struggling with finances. It's really hard to find a job post-incarceration in Arizona, where he is, and he can't leave the state because of his parole obligations.

Chad needs about $2000 to put a down payment on a car. This will vastly increase his ability to find a job. He also needs around $1400 to be able to rent an apartment for a couple of months while he's looking for work. And then he'll need some extra cash to cover insurance and other bills. I'd like to raise $4000 to help him get started.

Chad is a sweetie. He likes camping, the ocean and the mountains. He's thoughtful and kind. He was locked up for 13 years and is really enjoying no longer being inside. Anything you can donate would be wonderful. And please pass this fundraiser to anyone you think might have a little extra to spare.
