Help Chad Jacobs Brain Surgery Medical Expenses
Donation protected
Hi there! Whether you're a family member, close friend, acquaintance or even a stranger to Chad, we thank you wholeheartedly for your consideration and generosity in helping with this unexpected emergency surgery and future recovery expenses.
This news has been shock and devastation to the family. Those closest to Chad know him for his sense of humor, personality, resilience, determination, loyalty and love to his friends and family. Chad is stubborn and strong and will no doubt fight through this hardship, but he and his family will need help along the way.
On Monday November 15th, 2021 Chad had just finished reading a bedtime story to his 7 year old son and experienced his first seizure. He had been experiencing headaches over the past couple weeks that increasingly grew worse, but only thought he might have a pinched nerve and needed a neck rub or massage.
With the help of my sister, Chad's finance' calling 911 and their amazing neighbors performing CPR, Chad was transferred by ambulance to our local Emergency Department where an MRI and multiple tests were ran. Two brain tumors were found, one being a Malagenoma tumor (benign) however the MRI results showed signs of fluid on his brain so he was transferred to another hospital a couple hours away for additional MRI/CT tests which determined that the mass near the forward right front of his brain was surrounded by fluid. Doctors advised that the mass is likely a tumor/cancer, and he will need brain surgery to have it removed.
Chad underwent brain surgery November 18th, 2021 and will need to remain in the hospital in ICU for 2 days and transfer to rehab for an additional 8-10 days to be monitored and perform physical therapy as the removal of the mass on the forward right side of his brain will affect his motor skill function and will take time to recover to where he was prior to surgery. The tissue will be sent off to determine if malignant/cancerous and cancer treatment needed.
Both Chad and Audrey are independent business owners, with a 7 and 1.5 year old at home and this unexpected emergency will take a toll on them physically, mentally and financially as Chad will be out of work for the remainder of the year recovering. If you find it in your hearts to donate to help ease the burden for their family, we will forever be grateful! If you are unable to donate financially, please share far and wide. Every little bit helps tremendously!
On behalf of our ENTIRE family, we thank you for your support and continued prayers! God Bless!
