Support for Uncle Mark's passing
Donation protected
It is with heavy hearts that the Fujishige family announces the passing of Mark Fujishige, also known to many as Uncle Mark. On June 16, Uncle Mark passed away after experiencing a sudden rapid decline in his health.
Uncle Mark enjoyed fishing with his nephew Chad, diving for tako, and spending time with his friends and family. He is survived by his nephew, Chad Fujishige, and his mother, Mary Anne Fujishige.
For years, Uncle Mark was the primary caretaker for his mother, Mary Anne. His passing has not only left a deep emotional void but has also shifted the full responsibility of caregiving to his nephew, Chad. Chad is now the sole provider and caretaker for his grandmother and, as a result, is unable to work.
As you can imagine, this has placed an enormous financial burden on Chad, on top of grieving the loss of someone he deeply loved. Chad had already put his life and work on hold to care for both Uncle Mark and Grandma, and now faces this journey alone.
We are asking for any support you can give to help alleviate the financial stress Chad is under. Your donation will go toward covering funeral expenses, medical bills, and essential living costs while Chad continues to care for his grandmother during this incredibly difficult time.
Any contribution, no matter the amount, would mean so much. And if you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this campaign with others.
From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for your support, your kindness, and your prayers.
With gratitude,
