Surrounded by Love. Called to Serve.
This photo means the world to me.
It was taken during breakfast with friends I’ve made through my mission work in Ireland—people I never imagined I’d know, yet now can’t imagine life without. We were deep in conversation about what God is doing in Ireland, and in that moment, I felt completely surrounded—by love, by purpose, by peace.
It reminded me of the song “Surrounded” by Michael W. Smith:
“It may look like I’m surrounded, but I’m surrounded by You.”
And that’s exactly what this mission trip has done for me year after year.
Since 2017, I’ve traveled to Ireland to serve at The Lighthouse, a place that feeds, clothes, and encourages over 400 people daily. From meals and sleeping bags to addiction recovery support through Tiglin, this ministry offers real hope in tangible form.
I've had the honor of meeting people like Noel Kenny, often called the father of the Christian movement in Ireland. He’s been a mentor who showed me what hope in action looks like—especially when you feel like you have nothing left to give.
✈️ Why I’m Fundraising
I’ve raised $900 of the $2,300 I need for this year’s trip.
Every dollar goes toward travel, lodging, and supplies so I can return to the people and the mission that’s changed my life and continues to change theirs.
