Our family is raising funds to help cover our fur baby knees surgery. Chacha is a 5-year-old mixed Australian Shepherd who joined our little family two years ago. She’s a rescued dog — my co-workers found her wandering the streets, hungry, thirsty, and searching for a place to call home. The moment I looked into her sweet eyes, I knew she belonged with us.

Since that day, Chacha has brought so much joy and love into our lives. She’s energetic, gentle, and loves nothing more than playing soccer with my son or snacking on animal crackers.

Sadly, Chacha’s love for running and playing came to an abrupt end when she ruptured both of her knees while playing. She now needs knee surgery to walk and run freely again — to get back to doing what she loves most.

She needs an expensive double knee surgery to walk and run comfortably again, but the cost is far beyond what we can afford on our own.

We want nothing more than to see Chacha healthy, pain-free, and back to her playful self. Any help — whether it’s a donation or simply sharing her story — would mean the world to us and give Chacha the second chance she deserves.

Nuestra familia está recaudando fondos para ayudar a cubrir la cirugía de rodillas de nuestra perrita. Chacha es una pastora australiana mestiza de 5 años que se unió a nuestra familia hace dos años. La rescatamos: mis compañeros de trabajo la encontraron vagando por las calles, hambrienta, sedienta y buscando un hogar. En cuanto la miré a los ojos, supe que sería un miembro más de nuestra familia.

Desde ese día, Chacha nos ha traído muchísima alegría y amor. Es enérgica, cariñosa y le encanta jugar al fútbol con mi hijo o comer galletas de animalitos.

Lamentablemente, la alegría de Chacha por correr y jugar terminó abruptamente cuando se rompió ambas rodillas jugando con su pelota favorita. Ahora necesita una cirugía de rodilla para volver a caminar y correr libremente, para volver a hacer lo que más le gusta.

Lo único que deseamos es ver a Chacha sana, sin dolor y de vuelta a su espíritu juguetón. Cualquier ayuda —ya sea una donación o simplemente compartir su historia— significa muchísimo para nosotros y le daría a Chacha la segunda oportunidad que se merece.
