Help Cesar Lucero

Hi, my name is Abraham Mercado and I created a GoFundme campaign to help my dear friend and high school coach Cesar Lucero.

Cesar has always been known to be first to help others, and it is our turn to help Cesar out.

As many of you know, Cesar has been confined to a wheelchair his entire life. He was born with a rare disease called Osteogenesis Imperfecta, brittle bone disease. As a result, he has broken over 150 bones throughout his life and has had over 15 surgeries.

Despite his challenges, this has not stopped Cesar from continuously smiling and helping others.

Unfortunately, in January of this year he started to feel pain in his right hip and an MRI found a mas on his right femur that came out to be CHONDROSARCOMA, a form of cancer. He has since gotten it removed through surgery but the pain is unbearable and he not been able to work since January. Cesar mentioned to me, "This has been one of the toughest moments of my life but I know God has a plan. Surgery was a success but the pain is something I’ve never felt before. I’m currently recovering from surgery. The doctor say it may take a few months for me to get back to 100%. "

It is time for us to help Cesar out. Being that he cannot work, and the difficulties he has faced throughou this life, we need to help him with his basic needs and expenses. He is an incredible human being that is always looking to help others even in his situation.
