Please Help Cesar Leal with Medical Expenses

I am making this GoFundMe for my very good friend and coworker Cesar Leal. Many of you know him from the many restaurants he has worked at here on the coast for over 35 years, including Moose Cafe, Mendo Bistro, Nit's Cafe, Cocina Verona, Cafe Beaujolais, Albion River Inn, Taka's Grill, Harbor View Bistro Bar at Noyo Harbor Inn, Flow Restaurant, Cravin Grill, and North Coast Gas Station, to name only a few. Cesar is originally from a small village in Costa Rica named Bejuco Nandayure, Guanacaste. He moved here as an exchange student in 1990, and we even went to Mendocino High School together.

Cesar unfortunately had to have a kidney transplant in January 1995 and then had to have a cancerous tumor removed five years later.

Earlier this month, Cesar was suddenly hospitalized due to problems with his kidney here at our local hospital and has now been transferred to Sutter Hospital in Santa Rosa, where he was informed he also has a blood clot that must be surgically removed.

Cesar has always helped provide for his mother, Daisy, and his father, Rito, along with other family members and friends in need. So, with these outstanding medical bills and him not being able to work, this is a very stressful time. All we ask is that you please donate what you can; anything helps!
