Hello all, this GoFundMe was created to help raise money for my cousin and his girlfriend, Cesar and Rai. They left their country, Venezuela, to start a new life here. The goal was to apply for a green card after living here for one year. However, according to the Federal Register, the parole status for Venezuelans and others has been revoked. They have until April 24th to remove themselves from the country. By self-deporting, they are eligible to apply for reentry as soon as they leave, but will have to pay for all expenses out of pocket. The length it will take for them to come back is unknown. The money raised for them would help cover flight expenses, immigration consultation fees, and living expenses when their work authorization expires.
