Hi, my name is Figen and I‘m fundraising for my friend's son who lost his arm in the earthquake in Hatay/Turkiye. He is only 16 years old and has his whole life still ahead of him. He didn't only lose his arm in the devastating earthquake but very sadly also lost his mum who was my close friend :(( He has been staying in the hospital since he was rescued and has already had three surgeries due to his condition being very complicated! We are praying for him to be well soon. Cenk is still in the hospital and after being discharged from the hospital, he has no home to live in!

Unfortunately, this is not the only sad story in my circle of friends and family. Some of you already know that I lost my uncle, his wife, my cousin and her 5-year-old son. Only one cousin survived from my uncle's family, she lost her entire first-degree family. :( Can you imagine the pain?

I’m devastated and going through a very difficult time in my life. I am miles away from my country and my people.

This is the only way that I can think of in order to help them right now. Many of my friends have asked how to help, thus I have created this fundraiser. I will be sending all money to him and his family. I will be sharing this via the fundraiser where people will be able to kindly contribute and see the progression of the money being transferred to those in need.

The more people this reaches, the more help will be sent for those in need. There is no such donation that is too small or big. All contributions will help towards an important matter very close to my heart.
