As many of you know, our nanny Celina has been an incredible part of our family for the past 17 years, caring for our special needs son, Dylan. She often jokes that she is his second mother, and it’s true—her love and support have been a gift to Dylan and to all of us. We truly could not exist without Celina’s kindness, dedication, and unwavering presence in our lives.
On Christmas Day, tragedy struck when an apartment fire in the unit above Celina’s Brooklyn home caused severe flooding and smoke damage throughout her apartment. The damage was so extensive that Celina, her husband Moses, and their daughter Kiana (a sophomore at John Jay College) have been displaced indefinitely. They lost not only their home, but also many of their belongings and the sense of security they had built over the years.
We are raising funds to help Celina and her family secure a new apartment, replace essential furnishings, and cover the costs of starting over. Celina has always been there for us, and now it’s our turn to be there for her. Please consider supporting Celina and her family as they rebuild after this devastating loss. Any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference. Thank you for your kindness and support.
