I’m reaching out for help during a really difficult time for my partner Celia and our family. Recently, she suffered a serious arm injury that has left her in a temporary cast for the past two weeks. Unfortunately, this isn’t a situation that can heal properly on its own.

Her doctors have made it clear that surgery is the only way for her to regain full use of her arm. Without it, she could permanently lose up to 40% of her arm’s function. Because of this, they are unable to move forward with a standard hard cast—it simply wouldn’t give her the outcome she deserves.

The biggest obstacle we’re facing right now is the $6,000 copay required upfront for the surgery. We’ve tried everything—asking about payment plans and applying for financing like CareCredit—but have been denied or turned away. As much as we want to handle this on our own, it’s just not something we can afford right now.

She is an incredibly strong, hardworking, and caring person who would never ask for help herself. Seeing her in pain and stuck waiting for care she urgently needs has been heartbreaking.
