Celeste is my sweet Siberian long haired cat, and she means the world to me and her brother Pancho, my chi-weenie. Just a few months ago, Celeste lost her twin sister in a tragic drowning accident, and since then, she’s been missing her deeply. Celeste is incredibly loving and cuddly, always wanting to be close to her family. I believe she got out looking for her sister, and that’s when she was struck by a car this morning. She was rushed to the vet, and right now, she’s paralyzed and in urgent need of surgery to repair her damaged spine. The vets are hopeful that with this surgery, Celeste can recover and return home to us.

This year has been unimaginably hard. I’ve lost my mom and Celeste’s sister, and I’m still grieving those losses. On top of that, I have stage three chronic kidney disease and recently lost my job due to my illness. I’ve already spent so much trying to save Lil Bit, Celeste’s sister, and the thought of losing Celeste too is unbearable. I’ve paid for too many cremations to only be 39, and I can’t imagine saying goodbye to another loved one.

I’m reaching out for help because I want to give Celeste the chance she deserves. The funds raised will go directly to her surgery and care at the vet hospital. It will mean the world to Pancho, who keeps looking for his cuddle buddy everywhere, and to me. Please help me bring Celeste home and give her the chance to heal.
