My name is Celeste, and for years I’ve worked hard to support myself—most recently as a Teppan Chef. Recently, I had to take a leave of absence from my job due to severe depression. I knew I needed to focus on my mental health, but just a couple of days after starting my leave, I was unexpectedly kicked out of my residence. Suddenly, I found myself without a home or any income, and all of my bills are coming due at once.
This is by far the hardest situation I’ve ever faced. I’m currently living in my car, trying to figure out how to get through each day. The funds I raise here will go directly toward paying my most urgent bills—my cell phone, car payment, insurance, and registration—so I can stay connected and keep my car, which is my only shelter right now. If there’s anything left, I hope to use it for food and a safe place to stay while I work on getting back on my feet.
It’s incredibly difficult for me to ask for help like this. I’ve always been self-sufficient and never imagined I’d be in this position. Thank you so much for any support you can offer, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing my story. Anyone who knows me knows I’m doing my best to get through this. Your kindness and generosity mean more than I can say.
