Help Celeste Rebuild After Fire Loss

Hi, my name is Celeste/Mia, and I’m asking for help after an apartment fire that left me with nothing.

It’s taken me a while to write this it’s been over a week since the fire, and I’m still trying to process everything that happened.

I was staying with my sister when the fire happened. Although I wasn’t on the lease, I was living there at the time and lost everything I owned clothes, personal items, and essentials. I was alone during the fire and only had time to grab one of our cats and our mom’s ashes. Unfortunately, we’re still looking for our other cat, Ivor.

Because I wasn’t listed as a tenant, I don’t qualify for renters’ insurance or housing assistance. I’ve been doing my best to stay strong and recover, but the loss has been overwhelming both emotionally and financially.

This has been one of the hardest experiences I’ve ever faced, and asking for help isn’t easy. But right now, I truly need it. Any donation, no matter how small or even just sharing this page would mean so much!!!!
