Hello Everyone,

My name is Osman Milla and I am thrilled to announce that I recently graduated from the University of the District of Columbia with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, concentrating in Hospitality Management and Tourism. As a first-generation college graduate, this achievement is a significant milestone not only for me but for my family.

In the spirit of celebration and giving back, I want to help another deserving student, Jennifer Gomez, by raising funds for a scholarship. Jennifer is a 19-year-old student at Montgomery College, pursuing an associate degree in Ultrasound Medical with a specialization in Obstetrics. She is the eldest daughter of a single mother, with two younger sisters and a little brother, and she is the first in her family to attend college.

Jennifer is a first generation college student of Salvadorean heritage. She has maintained a 3.5 GPA while working to support her family here in the US and abroad. She was inspired by my college journey and I have been her friend and mentor since I witnessed her persistence. She can’t achieve her college goals alone. Since she was a little girl, Jennifer dreamed of going to college and becoming an ultrasound medical professional. She aspires to be a role model for her siblings and to make a difference in her community.

I am reaching out to the kindness and generosity of friends, family, and even strangers who believe in the power of education and the potential it has to change lives. Your contributions will directly support Jennifer’s education by covering:

Mi nombre es Osman Milla y estoy emocionado de anunciar que recientemente me gradué de la Universidad del Distrito de Columbia con una licenciatura en Administración de Empresas, con una concentración en Gestión de Hospitalidad y Turismo. Como el primer miembro de mi familia en graduarse de la universidad, este logro es un hito significativo no solo para mí, sino también para mi familia.
