Help Celebrate Toni's Life and Legacy

As most have heard, the world lost a great one. Toni was all things to everyone. A ray of sunshine on dreary day, or a guiding light when one of her many friends were led astray. Toni loved everyone and never met a stranger. She was such a strong force, and we are all better people for having the opportunity to have shared even a moment of this crazy life with her.

Unfortunately Cancer does not discriminate. It often take the best ones and we are never ready. Toni fought a valiant fight, keeping her anger and fear from stopping any progress that could be made to stay with the ones she loved, and she loved us all. I don’t think any of us thought for even a second that this would have been the outcome. I know I’m not alone.

I am creating this with the permission of her son, although he was reluctant. Toni would never ask, her stubborn and persistent ways always seen her through the hard times, and she has passed that onto her sons. She also believed it took a village, and never hesitated to show up for her people. My goal is to lighten the load for her family. This is burden they shouldn’t have to carry alone. Please don’t think of this as a handout, but as a gift. If you are so inclined any contribution is greatly appreciated, but please know it’s not necessary.

All donations will be given to the family to assist in final preparations , any excessive funds will be used to celebrate the life she shared with all us. In true Toni fashion, we aim to honor her by getting together making some great memories in her honor.

When I first heard the news my response was that there were no words, but I was wrong. There are so many words when I came to Toni. I could go on forever about this woman that we all so dearly loved, but I’m gonna save some for rainy day, as that is how it should be. She was simply amazing.
