Help Celebrate the Life of Ronda Lewis
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Jaira Warren, and I’m heartbroken to share that my mother, Ronda Lewis, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Mercy Hospital—just hours after being transferred to the ICU. She didn’t have a life insurance policy, and per her wishes, I’m starting this GoFundMe to help with funeral and medical expenses.
My mother was truly one of the strongest, most selfless women I’ve ever known. She was diagnosed with kidney failure at just 30 years old and spent the next 30 years on dialysis. Despite battling multiple health issues—including congestive heart failure, lung disease, and repeated infections—she never gave up.
Over the past 6 months, she endured several hospitalizations, major infections, and two amputations. Despite everything, she stayed resilient, never complained, and always remained hopeful. Sadly, after her final surgery, her body couldn’t fight any longer. She passed peacefully with her family by her side.
My mother gave so much to so many, always putting others before herself. Now I want to give her the homegoing celebration she deserves, and I need help to do that. Any donation, no matter how small, or even a simple share, would mean the world to us.
