Help cover funeral expenses and medical bills

Hi everyone! It’s Kirsten. I’m setting up a gofundme to help my dad fight his battle against cancer. He was diagnosed about a year and a half ago, and even though it’s been a tedious and hard journey, my dad has maintained a positive mindset and moved forward with his new life alongside leukemia (AML). Unfortunately about 10 days ago due to his weak immune system he caught pneumonia and was admitted to the hospital immediately. What we thought to be something minor turned into our worst nightmare and he’s now in critical condition in the ICU.

If you know my dad you know he’s one of the strongest people out there. My dad’s sense of humor and go-getter personality is infectious and it’s also what kept him and our household lively and full of laughter. My dad’s a fighter and has taught us to keep pushing forward no matter what. He’s definitely one of God’s strongest soldiers and he’s proving it day by day.

He is a loving father, husband, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. My dad has protected his family his whole life and now it’s our turn to protect him in any way that we can.

According to the Doctors these are uncertain times, therefore we kindly ask for your support to ease the burden of medical and other necessary expenses.

I never thought I’d be writing this for my dad. I miss dancing and sharing a laugh with him. All of this still doesn’t feel real.

Tomorrow is not promised so hug your loved ones and tell the people in your life that you love them.
